Disabling Email ID and Setting Out of Office for Disable Users.
Hello Friends, Here are some of the silly question, Never mind:-) 1.After Disabling the Login ID - Is the Email ID also going to disable, If no - then please suggest. 2.One of our PM left the organization, And his ID hasbeen disabled, Now I want to Set Out of Office Assistant on his mailBox. Hey Ashwini, 1. No it doesn't stop receiving emails until mailbox is full. You can either set send/receive mailbox size limit to zero to stop receiving emails. OR Change the SMTP address to something else... 2. You can give Full Mailbox Access to your account on the disabled user account. Then you can login to user's mailbox with OWA or by configuring new outlook profile for that user with your credential (since you have full mailbox access) and set out of office/auto-reply rule (I mentioned auto-reply because out-of-office gives reply only once while auto reply does everytime). Be sure that you have enabled out-of-office/auto-replies enabled in Global settings otherwise it doesn't work.
