Disabled Online Archive Mailbox not showing up on Disconnected Mailbox section of Exchange.

Hi guys,

I need your assistance and hope you can help me on this. I have Exchange 2010 SP3 with local (its not in the cloud)  online archive set for users. I disabled the Online Archive for one of the user. Then by mistake, enabled Online Archive again for that user (this gave the user new Online Archive mailbox). I should have reconnected it through the Disconnected Mailbox section, but did so in a rush. When I re-enabled the Online Archive for the user, I had also selected to have the new Online Archive mailbox created on the same Mailbox Database as the original Online Archive Mailbox. Now I cant see the original  Online Archive Mailbox on Disconnected Mailbox section that was disabled from that user as I want to have the original Online Archive Mailbox added back to the user. Its been couple of days since I disabled that Online Archive mailbox and have also run the Clean-MailboxDatabase against all the Archive Databases.  I have done the exact same thing with other Test mailboxes and the online archive mailboxes, they show up on Disconnected Mailbox section, but not this particular user. Is there anything that you could suggest that I should do? Not sure, if this is related, when that user was created a while ago, we had Exchange 2010 SP1 and had upgraded to SP3 last month. I assume that should not affect it.

Thanks,
Bidhan

Hi,

I understand you can't see the original  Online Archive Mailbox on Disconnected Mailbox section.

Please check the below arcticle and see if you can see the disconnected mailbox via Powershell.

Get-MailboxDatabase | Clean-MailboxDatabase Get-MailboxServer | Get-MailboxStatistics | where { $_.DisconnectDate } | fl DisplayName, DisconnectDate

Thanks for the reply David.

However running the command as you suggested shows message that some parameters are incorrect.

Get-MailboxDatabase | Clean-MailboxDatabase Get-MailboxServer | Get-MailboxStatistics | where { $_.DisconnectDate } | fl DisplayName, DisconnectDate

Then I ran this command (which I already had previously)  Get-MailboxStatistics Database (My Database Name) | where {$_.disconnectdate ne $null} | select displayname,MailboxGUID.

It still does not show my original Online Archive Mailbox.

Any other thing that could be done here?

Thank you

Bidhan

Run it without the qualifier and see if you see it:

Get-MailboxStatistics Database (My Database Name) |FL > text.txt

Spit it out to a text file and search it and see if you find the original archive.

Thanks a lot Andy. That command showed it all.

Thanks again,
