Disable outbound e-mail for some users
Hi! Here is the situation: I have an Exchange 2007 with about 500 users. 2 servers with 2 roles - 1 edge and 1 Hub Transport and mailbox. Some users should be only allowed to send and receive e-mails internally, inside the organisation. Restricting then from receivinge-mailswas an easy task, now its done. But i don't know how to restrict them from sending mails to the outside world. Any suggestions? Could that be done in Exchange, of do i need a third-party solution? TIA V

you just need a transport rule on your hub transport server new-transportrule http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb125138(EXCHG.80).aspx
