Direct file Attachments
I'm looking to try and filter specific attachments from emails being received inbound onto a Exchange server 2007. I've notice several add on pieces for clients but I'm looking to do this at the server level. I have read a lot about leveraging Antigen attachment filters but I don't think I can redirect those attachments to a shared folder for review. Essentially that is what Im trying to do. Any help or direction to resources would be helpful.

The way you would do that with Antigen or most other Anti Virus scanners is to set them to Quarantine any "File types" you need them to. Then you review them in quarantine before releasing them to the proper recipient.hope that helps, michael

Hi, Using Antigen could be a solution. We can set attachment filter and then enable quarantine files and e-mail Notifications. After that we can receive the e-mail notification and decide the action for the email.
