Direct Booking Not Working From Outlook 2010
We have a mailbox currently configured for Outlook Direct Booking (mailbox sits on Exchange 2003). When Outlook 2010 users send a meeting request to the direct booking mailbox, the calendar invite just sits in the Inbox. The meeting request is never processed. I've tried the suggested registry change in the below link (on multiple machines) and did not have any luck. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/982774 Anyone have any other suggestions?

Hi, you have to configure the direct book mailbox on your Exchange server. It is not a registry key on the local machine. So in order to configure the mailbox. Please configure Outlook in order to connect to the mailbox and then configure the direct booking feature using Outlook. If you need more a more flexible configuretation use the Auto Accept Agent for Exchange 2003. We have auto accept mailboxes, but while the mailbox remains on Exchange 2003 it needs to be configured for Direct Booking. Workaround is to leave the mailbox open on another machine. Mailbox sits on Exchange 2003. We'll work on converting these to Exchange 2010 resource mailboxes.
