DirectPush SSL Certificate
I have set up DirectPush on our Exchange 2003 server, and secured it using SSL. I made the security certificate on our server using the Microsoft tools in Server 2003. It works fine as far as I've tested it with https:// in a browser, except that the browser displays a certification error - "This certificate cannot be verified by a trusted certification authority." I haven't yet got the mobile device to test it, but wonder if anyone can tell me whether this certificate error is likely to cause a problem for the mobile device and, if it is, whether there's anything I can do, other than buying a commercial certificate? Many thanks, Gary

Yes, the mobile device will not sync with SSL. I'd advise buying a cert from a trusted 3rd party CA. Remember that wildcard certs don't work with Mobile 5 as well.
