Different Display Names for Same E-mail Accounts
Hi, We are using an Exchange 2003 server with an SBS 2003 server. In order to minimise the license usage we have given a common e-mail id to the people who do not require too much mail access. Now we are facing an issue that whenevera mail comes in it shows the common e-mail id as it should and we are confused about the person who has sent the mail. I wanted to know if we have an option in Outlook or Exchange wherein it can display different usernames along with the common e-mail id. Signature setup is one option we are working with right now however any other option so that the recepient knows the sender without opening the message (i.e.) in the inbox itself. We are using Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 for the clients. Please AdviseThanks & Regards,Amit Bhattacharjee.

Hi,For this issue, I suggest we create the public folders and then mail enable it as mailbox for the users. After that, please give the send on behalf permission of the mail enable public folders to the command e-mail ID.After that, please just to set the From the address to the mail-enable public folder when the user sends the email, then the recipient can know when send this email.http://www.msexchange.org/articles/MF021.htmlThanksAllen
