Difference between client language pack and server language pack of Exchange 2010?
Hi Experts, Would like to know difference between client language pack and server language packs in Exchange 2010. The below link explains client and server language packs and their availability as a bundle. http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2010/02/09/453943.aspx But, my question is what is the difference between client and server language packs? The language bundle is delivered as a single downloadable file which includes all localized resources for the server— including Exchange Management Console (EMC) and client (<acronym style="border-bottom: black 1px dotted; cursol: help;" title="Outlook Web App">OWA</acronym> & <acronym style="border-bottom: black 1px dotted; cursol: help;" title="Exchange Control Panel">ECP</acronym>) interfaces within Exchange. To get a localized experience in EMC, ECP and OWA, you need to install the language pack

Server pack is the O/S language on the server itself. Client Pack provides the availible languages the client can set their mailbox to. There are also Unified Messaging Language Packs as well!

Thanks for the quick response Andy Client pack also be installed on the server ...correct? First I would like to know steps on how to install server and client languages. How clients will choose a language? If Gernam installed on server, client default folders will be in Gernam or english?

Yes, installed on the server per that link. Clients can set the language in OWA/options or they can be set with Powershell set-mailbox.
