Hi I need to replace my existing exchange 5.5 and sql server (running 2000). They will be replaced by two new server running the same version of exchange (5.5) and sql server (2000). OS is server 2000. Exchange server is the domain controller . All the configuration and data need to be transferred to the new servers . I would appreciate if you could guide me through this step by step. thanks

Need keep the same server name in new server?If not, recommend you just deploy new Exchange 55 and join to same ORG & Site then rehome all user mailbox Exchange home server from old one to new server. The next, add new server name to replicate list in All public folders and system folders and wait to sync data. The last,rehome all public folders and system folder home server from old one to new one.
