Deploying Exchange 1st time with two different Domains
Dear All, I am newbie in Microsoft Networks; my company is using exchange 2003 server. Scenario is ISA External IP 212.116.223.21/252 Internal 10.10.33.5 Exchange Server's IP 10.10.33.1 GW: 10.10.33.5(ISA Internal) We are using two different domains abc.com and xyz.com.sa abc.com and xyz.com.sa With the help of GFI application emails from abc.com is forwarding to xyz.com.sa Now can any 1 please guide me; I want to remove this server as per management requirements and want to install/configure new exchange 2003 servers. Front-End & Back-End server. I already request for some more public IP's. Scenario in my mind is plug/configure front-end server with direct to the internet with public IP and configure SSL there. i.e. IP is 212.116.223.22/29 Back-end server's IP will be same 10.10.33.1 gateway?.... Do I need to bypass ISA or with in ISA confused how What will happen if front-end server goes down? What will be my backup procedure plan? What is right scenario to configure exchange with 2 different domains perhaps my local active directory domain name is "oc.local" I don't want to use GFI., Purely want to use exchange then what need to be done for spam, viruses.. .security issues? I'll really appreciate if some 1 can guide me thoroughly.. Regards and thanks in advance, Sami..
