Hello, I have deployed Exchange (unified messaging, hub transport, client access and mailbox) in my TI. This deployment is an production deployment, and it is working quite fine. Now, I need to deploy for learning and teaching reasons another Exchange in the same IT with de same Active Directory and with the same domain. It is possible¿? I will use a separate servers, but that servers are in the same network, in the same AD and in the same domain. If this is an impossible deployment, what type of deployment will be correct for my needs¿? Thanks a lot.

yes you can deploy 2 or more exchange servers in the same domain but limit your testing only to your test servers and dont make changes in organization level it may effect your other servers.

As Muhammad said, you can deploy as many other Exchange servers as you want. You will not be able to completely separate a second server if you install it in the same domain as it will become a member of the same Exchange oragnization (only one Exchange organization per AD forest). This means that any changes that you make at the Organizational level will affect all servers in the environment. If this is truely for lab/testing purposes, I would recommend building up a virtual environment in a separate network that mimics your current environment. Agree with TWHarrington. Exchange is 1 to 1 with an AD forest. If it's a test environment for learning, build a new AD forest and put Exchange in there. Hello, yes you can deploy the exchange server on the current organization but as TWHarrington mention you will have only one exchange oranization per Forest. If you are going for LAB setup,I would suggest you to go for a dedicated server part of different network and install Domain controller and Exchane seperatly so that you can use it without effecting your Production,Usually labs are used to test the application and functionalities of it.
