Delivery has failed to these recipients or distribution lists. Tries to send to an old employee.
(I know this has been asked lots of times but I cant find an answer in what I have read)
Hi,
I have been asked to look and try to solve this problem. I haven’t been in IT so I’m no expert and may be missing something
obvious here.
When a meeting request is made by at least 4 members of staff (All management) they get a failed delivery email stating the following.
Delivery has failed to these recipients or distribution lists:
Joanne
Bates
The recipient's e-mail address was not found in the recipient's e-mail system. Microsoft Exchange will not try to redeliver this message for you. Please check the e-mail address and try resending this message, or provide the following diagnostic text to your
system administrator.

This is an old employee who’s active directory and mailbox entry has been deleted. This does not happen when I send a meeting
request.
I have searched everywhere for her name in a forward / access to mail box type scenario on the server to no avail.
I have considered that it could be related to delegate permissions, but have checked on one users PC for reference to her name
but its not there.
There is a delegate permission giving to an account we have called reception. I logged on to this account from my PC and there
are no delegate permissions and I’m not sure on what PC they would have been set up on.
What else can I check? I can attached the Diagnostic information for administrators if required.
Thanks
Laura
