Delivery Error Message....too Many Attachments
A user from company A sent an email to a user in our company, the email has a lot of links (few hundreds) listed as a hyperlink and picture under each link (they for a recent press release). The user in our company forwarded the email to another user in company B which that user received the email. For some reason the user from company B forwarded the email back to the user in our company (added PDF file) and he (user from company B) got a delivery error message "This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification. Delivery to the following recipients failed. Insert email address here" and no specifics. I got a call from IT in Company B as to why the delivery error and tried to troubleshoot, but we could not find any problem with our server or his server. Also, when sending a regular email from company B to us it gets delivered with no problem. I asked the user in company B to forward the email (along with PDF file) to my hotmail account and I got it with no problems. I tried to forward the email from hotmail to my work email and got the same delivery error. So, something on our server is blocking the email since it went through to hotmail. Anyone can help with troubleshooting this issue? In hotmail the message shows some 382 attachments but I don’t think they are real attachments…they more like embedded links and pictures and there are lot of AT00001, AT0002, AT0003 to AT0383 listed as attachments that show in hotmail. Also, in hotmail the total size of the email is about 4 MB, and our Exchange Server message size limit is 75 MB Thanks, B <!-- <<< -->

Sorry for delay...I tried sending the email from hotmail with no pdf and with new attachments and both failed. Not using any privacy filter or spam software....only blocking emails from certain domains.
