Deleting Email from a POP3 server
POP3 email is being retrieved from a POP3 (SMTP) server. The problem is that Exchange is only reading the email (not downloading) and not deleting the email from the POP3 server. The result is the continuous accumulation of email on the server. Unlike outlook, there appears to be no way of deleting email from the server after retrieved. If there any way around this problem? Thanx

Hi,I understand that the email could not be deleted after retrieving from POP3 server. Before going on, I would like to confirm the type of the client that you used. Actually, this request that you asked can be achieved on the client side.If it is Outlook Express, please check the settings of the user account.1. Open OE, click Tools, click Account, double click the account.2. In the Advanced tab, please check whether the option leave a copy of messages on server was checked underneath Delivery.3. If not, please check it and change the configuration based on your needs.ThanksAllen
