Delete Public Folder Database - Exchange 2010

Hi Guys

I recently installed Exchange 2010 with a public folder database. My clients are on Outlook 2010. I don't use Public Folders however my Outlook clients show its connected to Public Folders when I check Connection Status on the Outlook icon in the task bar.

I want to delete the public folder database, can I safely do this???

Would it affect existing Outlook profiles???

Yes it is safe to delete PF Database from the server and it would be no impact to client

Else you can deploy a registry to all outlook clients as below

Also check the Public Folder Replica's first before removing the Public Folder.
