Delete Private Appointment from Room Mailbox
Exchange 2007 SP1 and Outlook 2007 SP1. I have full Exchange Admin rights. One of my users has managed to add a private appointment to one of our room mailbox calendars despite-RemovePrivateProperty $True in the calendar settings. The user and I are both unable toopen, delete or even select the appointmentdespite both of us having Owner rights to the mailbox and calendar. How do I get this thing out of here?

Hello, MFCMapi can access mailbox at raw level. Open mailbox in it and try to delete the meeting with it if meeting got corrupted then you can deletewith MFCMapi. http://www.codeplex.com/MFCMAPI

Fixed. While logged in as myself with admin priveleges, I simply created an Outlook profile with the room mailbox account that was having the problem. I was then able to open up the Calendar appointment and delete it. You wont be able to login to Windows with the room mailbox account, as the account for room mailboxes are disabled. Be sure to login as an admin with Full Mailbox Access to the resource and just create a new Outlook profile.

Gwave65, this worked great! Thank you for noting room mailbox was disabled as this was confusing me.
