Delegate, auto-archive, and mailbox permission issues after ExMerge from 2003 to 2007
One of our users is experiencing significant difficulty with their mailbox. We are running Exchange 2007 Standard SP2 on Server 2008. This user's mailbox data was merged from an ExMerge exported .pst from a SBS 2003 Exchange mailbox in a different forest. We recently discovered the following issues: Auto-Archive has been moving items to the Deleted Items folder without archiving them to the specified .pst. We have since disabled Auto-Archive, but would like some insight into why this may be happening. Sub-folders of the user's Inbox have NT GUID/SIDs listed for sharing permissions, and show up with the shared icon on them. These are obviously permissions brought over from the old forest. Is there a way to easily reset the mailbox subfolder permissions in bulk? When the user navigates in Outlook 2007 to Tools->Options->Delegates and attempts to add a delegate, the only Address Book available is "All Contacts" which doesn't include the majority of the users in AD, nor does the Global Address List appear as a choice. However, when navigating to Tools->Address Book, all of the appropriate lists appear in the drop-down menu. At this point we are prepared to create a new user with a new mailbox and manually copy the items he needs. This is not an ideal solution.
