Delayed up to 12 hours email replies back sent to us from external email addresses
Sometime back in November,2009 our outgoing emails to external addresses were received immediately (as tested on 10Nov2009 10am by me). However; it was the replies back or mail sent to us from these (External email addresses) that were delayed, this might not a user but rather domain issue or mailbox maintenance issue. I used Mail Flow troubleshooter but to no abnormalities found. We have a single domain. As far as troubleshooting, they, external email addresses, would receive our messages and reply, however; we would not receive the reply for 4-12 hours later. We could send immediately but receiving was delayed. Most of the time the sender from the other domain (external such as hotmail) would get a delayed message that their mail was in queue. The only thing happened before this was moving of Exchange mail files from an EVA (a good storage) to a MSA2000 (a cheaper storage than EVA). I had spent also searching to no avail yet. I am afraid if this happens again , my users will going to bug me. Hope to see some light from you guys here inExchange Forums though i am new here. Thanks in advance. -Jeffrey

For the headers and NDR message, I was not lucky to have those that time (11-Nov-2009). but next time I need to capture it via the tools provided in Exchange 2007 (my fault).For the ExBPA and PTA, I have several findings which I am examining right now. I am posting here later those. Thanks so much.
