Delayed mail
I have a user who recently got married so I needed to change her account details. Following the change, there is a huge delay in mail being received by her at her new address. Here is what I did.Her previous primary was Jane.Doe@mysite.com, I added Jane.Smith@mysite.com and set it as Primary. I then changed her name under her AD account to Jane Smith. And that is basically it. I can send mail to Jane.Doe@mysite.com and it is received in moments. Mail sent to Jane.Smith@mysite.com both internally and externally takes a day or more.Any help appreciated,David

If you change the other person's information and send email to that person, Is there a delay ?? please check your specific event log.Unless there are event-logs,you can enable diagnostic-logging on ESMto confirm more about symptom. Thatdiagnostic loggingvalues that should be enabledare related to Transport/All . ( set as maximum ) thentry to send and check the event-log again. -MG

thanks for the reply. I've got logging turned on. I'm new at this, so what should I be looking for in the log?

After you make logging turned on, please confirm the problem happens again. if so , we can find out some the other specific reason about that. you may see the event-log in your evetvwr. Are there any events ?? -MG
