Default public folder store is remote
After running exbpa on my exchange 2007 environment it reports "Default public folder store is remote" under non-default settings. We have two mailbox servers. The first hosts a pf db, the second has no pf db. All the mailbox dbs on both servers point to the pf db on the first server. Is there some kind of performance problem or otherwise by using this configuration?Micah

Hi Micah,I think it shouldn't give any performance problem, if both mailbox servers are in same datacenter/location then it doesn't make any difference to get PF data from different servers. But both are in different location then user may face some network latency while accessing PFs.ExBPA give you information about standard settings andillustration of your environmentbut you need to decide depending the design topology you have in your org :)Amit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
