Default Mailbox Features POP and IMAP to Disabled
I've asked this before, and the Powers That Be are not happy with the answer. Is there really no way to have POP and IMAP, etc set to disabled by defualt so that new users will automatically NOT have POP and IMAP capability. Even an ADschema hack? Scripts running dailyis so 1984.

Hi Russ,AFAIK, there isn't any hack to make POP/IMAP disabled by default in schema and need to stick with Scheduled Script as discussed earlier.http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvradmin/thread/792e91f7-1bc0-4c1a-8398-09573b590bafHowever it is a good try to put this query in AD forums to know if someone has a trick there...Microsoft TechNet>Forums Home>Windows Server>Directory ServicesOf course, appreciate if you get any work around there and share here with Exchange community :)Amit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
