Hi Kyi, From the description of the question, I think maybe you are granting some specific permission for the mailbox, the mailbox store, or the server, am I right? The group or user names lists the users and groups who have permission assigned to them for this object. You can perform the following steps to check out the members of the group: 1. Start the ADUC(Active Directory Users and Computers). 2. Navigate to the Users and L-click in the control tree. 3. Double-click the group which you specify. 4. Choose the Members tab and you will have a straight-view for the members of the group. But if you create new mailbox-enabled accounts in Active Directory, they do not have inherited mailbox rights. The only object that is granted permission is SELF, which is granted full mailbox access and read rights. This behavior occurs because the mailbox security descriptor is not read from the Active Directory account object until the user logs on or gets mail. The recipient update server does not stamp the inherited permissions when the mailbox is created. After the mailbox is created in the store, the store calculates inherited mailbox rights. To resolve the behavior perform one of the following action: · Log on to the mailbox. · Send a message to the mailbox. Here are some documents for you: http://www.petri.co.il/self_permission_on_exchange_mailboxes.htm ( SELT permission on mailboxes right) http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=272153 http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc700835.aspx (Securing Active Directory Administrative Groups and Accounts) http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997442(EXCHG.65).aspx (Benefiting from Standardized Security Roles in Exchange) If you have any other question, please feel free let me know, we can have a further discussion. Best regards, Yang
