Default Calendar Settings

Hello everyone,

My wife and I use Office 365, so we both have Exchange capability/features.  I shared her calendar in my Outlook client.  Her calendar is now the display default when I click on Calendar at the bottom of Outlook.  I have to click my calendar tab at the top to show mine.  I know it is petty, but how do I change this such that my calendar (which has an overlay of hers) is what is displayed by default?

Thanks!

Enable both calendar at first and right click on the user calendar and click overlay.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info.  I tried that, and that's how I got both calendars to show on 1.  However, even though entries from both calendars are shown on my calendar in difference colors, hers still shows as a 2nd tab.  The 2nd tab is the default display calendar.

Hi David,

Do you mean your calendars are displayed like this?

If this is the case, please try clicking the right arrow (circled in red) to split the calendars.

If I've misunderstood something, would you please provide a screenshot so that we can understand the issue more clearly? If your account is not verified to attach an image, please share the image to us via sending it to GBSD TN Office Information Collection ibsofc@microsoft.com. (The email subject should be the thread link)

Sorry I haven't replied to this until now.  I didn't get (or missed) the notification of reply.  I have been able to successfully over-lay the calendars, but I still have two tabs and the wrong one (the shared one) is displayed on top by default.  I need to switch it.  When I click on "Calendar" at the bottom of Outlook, I see this:Default Display

I want to see this as the default:

Desired Display

Thanks for your help!
