Decommissioning Exchange 2003 Server from an Exchange 2010 Environment Public Folder issue
We recently introduced an Exchange 2010 server and now wanted to remove the old Exchange 2003 server. We've moved all mailboxes and Public Folders have replicated, this morning I tried to delete the Public Folder database from ESM 2003, it wouldnt allow it. Checking in ESM in the Public Folder Instances its still showing 2 folders, one is our Central Calendar, the other is OAB Version 2. I checked on the new Exchange and these are both replicated, checking in properties of both folders on ESM 2003 it shows only the new Exchange in the Replication tab. I have right clicked Public Folders and chosen 'Move All Replicas' which I did that 24 hours ago but still those 2 folders remain. Any thoughts?

The instances should be empty. Is it not letting you delete the central cal or the oab version 2? James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com
