Decommisioning Public Folder server
Hi AllWe are running Exchange 2003 SP2. We have 2 Mailbox servers, one Front End and one Public Folder server (named Pub1) in our Admin Group (UK). There is also an Admin Group for France and Germany. Routing groups copy the same architecture. The Public Folder server needs to be decommissioned and removed from the Exchange org. We have a new server, already running Exchange (named Pub2), that we need to move the Public Folders to.Most of the Public Folders on Pub1 are from other Admin Groups. If I click on one of the Folders > Properties, I can see that the replication partners are pub1.uk.com, pub1.france.com and pub1.germany.comI need to replicate *all* of the Public Folders to Pub2. What is the best way to do this?Cheers!

In such scenario, I would suggest you to use Move All Replicas in the exchange 2003 SP2 References: Move All Replicas command to move all public folder content from a public store to a different server using a single command. This command is helpful if you need to uninstall Exchange Server 2003 from a server; you cannot uninstall Exchange Server 2003 from a server than contains any public folder replicas ---------Refer to < Administration Features in Exchange Server 2003> How to Dismount and Delete the Mailbox and Public Folder StoresDeleting Exchange Server Public Folders section in Exchange Public Folder Troubleshooting Resources
