Decomm Exchange 2007 environment
Hi We are running Exchange 2007 in our environment. We have an HQ office and several regional offices too. Each region has its own Exchange/ AD servers, all part of the same Exchange org/forest. One of these offices, Branch1, is being closed down by the company. It has about several hundred mailboxes and has two sites, SiteA and SiteB. Each Site has: 3 Domain Controllers/GC's 2 x Hub/CAS 2 x Exchange 2007 mailbox servers The Exchange mailbox servers in SiteA are CCR. There is SCR replication from the CMS in SiteA to one of the servers in SiteB. Does anyone know the best way to decomm this infra cleanly? Also, should all the DC/GC's be decommed last, or can we leave only one up and decomm the other two per site as we do Exchange? Thanks in advance!
