Daily Out of Office Messages
I'm hoping someone here can help, as I've had no luck so far. One of my friend's company has it set up so that each sender of an email receives an out of office message from a user once per day. I would like to set this up for my company, but have not been able to figure out how to do it. I was under the impression that there was a setting in Exchange 2003 to allow this, but again, no luck. Anyone have any ideas? I don't want to set up a rule that replies to each message, just to each sender once per day. Users have either Office 2003 or 2007. Thanks,Jon

No way by default exchnage server will do this for you. The only option will be piece of code or script.Raj

OOF is a setting that is held at a server level and would have to be change with a script or a thrid party tool.http://www.symprex.com/products/out-of-office-extender/http://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/Server_Software/Email_Servers/Exchange/Q_21888868.htmlChrisChristopher C

Like others said this feature is not present in exchage at this moment. but you can opt for any third party tool like below OOF-Reset 1.0.6.0 http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/E-mail/Mail-Utilities/OOF-Reset.shtmlVinod |CCNA|MCSE 2003 +Messaging|MCTS|ITIL V3|

Guys, I think he may be asking how to prevent the OOF from firing on every message from a sender in a given day rather than on just one message.I didn't read that he was wanting a custom OOF sent each and every day more like a marketing message. If so, that's not an oof, that's an app that does a daily auto-reply with marketing content.

Hi,For the OOF rule of the Exchange 2003 server, if this sender has already been sent an OOF reply, do not send again which is by design. Thus, you need to resortto third party to work on this issue.ThanksAllen
