Hello All;

Well google isn't helping right now so I need a little insight.

I have two Exchange 2013 CU7 environments.
4 Databases on them. 

3 of the databases updated/reseeded without a problem. BUT 

1 database is showing:
Mailbox Database Name\Exch2
Passive Seeding 
Copy queue Length:  457729
Content index state:  FailedAndSuspended 
Suspend | Remove | View Details

From the above, You see I cannot Activate on my Exch2 due to passive seeding. Is the DB truly reseeding especially if the copy queue keeps growing.

thanks i'll give it a try. So you're saying it wasn't reseeding though ?

ResetSearchIndex.ps1 is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script, file or operable program.   

Is that a Exchange 2010 or 2013 script ?

yea, as you can see the Content index state:  FailedAndSuspended
