I have DAG with 2 member MBOX (MBX1 and MBX2).

Mailbox Database active running on MBX2 and passive running on MBX1.

I have problem, when i move active mailbox database to Server MBX1 i can't search email with error message "an error occurred while searching please try again" but if active Mailbox Database still running on Server MBX2 i can search email.

Please Help me to resolve this pr

What's the status of Content Indexing on the second node?   You may need to reseed it

In eventvwr, i get ID 1012 msexchangeis.

I already stopped the search engine services and deleted the index - files for the database. but not rebuild.

Basic on the event log, I notice that the Exchange Server Information Store has encountered an error (Failed to open a channel) while executing a full-text index query.

Please run below command to check the Content Index status of DAG copy:
Get-MailboxDatabaseCopyStatus | FL *index*,*mailbox*,*server*,*databse*

Please run Update-MailboxDatabaseCopy CatalogOnly to reseed the catalog for the active database and the passive database copy.

i use Release to Manufacturing (RTM) version of Exchange Server 2013 (15.00.0516.032).

RTM is way out of support from Microsoft (they only support the 2 most current cu's). I would recommend upgrading to CU7 or CU8 and then trying your search again.
