Custom OS Descriptions
I've loadedthe followingOS's on one server to create a test bed andlearn each version: Windows server 2008 standard Standard Core Standard withHyper-v Whenthe servr starts, it finds the three OS partitions and displays them with the same name: Windows Server 2008 How do I customizethe descriptions so they representeach version? Hi Tony,In legacy Windows version it could be done with boot.ini file changes but in Windows 2008 & Vista you need to use bcdedit command or some GUI tools like EasyBDC.
