Cross-Domain Administration of Exchange 2007
If I have Exchange 2007 servers in different domains, can I administer them remotely from outside their domain? For example: Domain 1 has Mailbox, Client Access, Transport Hub, Unified Messaging roles distributed on different servers within Domain 1. Domain 2 has Mailbox and Transport Hub server roles distributed on different servers within Domain 2. Domain 3 has only the Edge Transport server role installed. If I am on a machine in Domain 2 that has the MS Exchange 2007 Admin Tools installed, can I remotely administer all Exchange 2007 servers on Domains 1, 2 and 3? If so, what permissions/trusts will I need to accomplish this? Thanks in advance, Matt Moore

Yes you can. Make sure you've prepared the proper domains via preparedomain, etc. see here: Exchange 2007 Permissions: Frequently Asked Questions http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb310792.aspx

How do I add the user from Domain A to the Exchange Admin groups on Domain B?
