“A room mailbox is a resource mailbox assigned to a meeting location, such as a conference room, auditorium, or training room. An equipment mailbox is a resource mailbox assigned to a resource that's not location specific, such as a portable computer, projector, microphone, or a company car” ---------Refer to <Create a Room or Equipment Mailbox>James Luo TechNet Subscriber Support (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/ms788697.aspx) If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com

Per my knowledge, there are two options: · You can use the “Custom Attributes” to filter address list other than room and equipment. The button is in the “Properties” of resource mailbox · Or, you can use “Custom Resource Properties” for the resources that users can search by default. The property will be added as the value of “ResourceCustom” attribute Resources: Configure Custom Resource Properties for a Resource MailboxJames Luo TechNet Subscriber Support (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/ms788697.aspx) If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com
