Creating auto reply rule or transport rule on Exchange 2013

Hi,

I've tried to setup rules " Apply this rule after the message arrives -> have server reply using a specific message" but it won't reply. (the message is around 300 symbols, so bounce message doesn't work; also Out of office doesn't work because I want to have reply to every email which is arrived)

After few hours research I don't have any idea how to setup this. When I've setup this Outlook says me "Cannot reply to message". If I setup this rule to Exchange 2010, it work properly but on Exchange 2013 doesn't work.

Any suggestions?

Basically I need (Server Side) rule which automatically reply to all messages which arrived in my mailbox :)

In my opinion this has always been a big limitation of rules, both client-based and server-based.

You'll need a third-party application for this.  Sorry, I don't know of one to recommend to you.

Hi gyovkov,

Thank you for your question.

What is transport rule you have configured(tell me details)?

Did the other transport rule work correctly on Exchange 2013?

We could restart the Microsoft Exchange Transport service and Microsoft Exchange Information store to check if the issue persist.

If not, we could disable anti-virus program to check if it worked.

We could also create new mailbox on new database on Exchange 2013 to check if the issue persist.

We could run the following command to check if we have enabled this transport rule on Exchange server:

Get-TransportRule <rule name> | FL

If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.

Best Regard,

Jim
