Creating an arbitrary alias for a domain transport rule
Hello. I am importing a .CSV file into the Exchange powershell. The CSV file is created from a custom query against a customer database. I have a very simple powershell script that runs every day to import the CSV file, delete the existing transport rule, and recreate it with any additional domains for the purposes of redirecting mail sent to those domains to a single workflow mailbox that processes it. The transport rule has reached it's max 8k, so I am not working on a way to create an arbitrary alias, add it to the domain so user1@domain1.com - with only the domain and create a custom contact. The custom contact will have an attribute added to it to add the contact to a dynamic distribution group. I can then change the transport rule to use the domain from the contacts list instead of adding it to the transport rule. Is there an easy way to achieve this?
