Creating a mailbox using Forefront Identity Manager 2010 R2 - mailbox won't be created

I am trying to create a new user mailbox at the same time when the user is being provisioned to AD using FIM 2010 R2. The user provisioning is succesfull, but the mailbox is not created.

If I try manually create the mailbox for that user from Exchange 2013 ECP, I get this error message:

A value can't be provided automatically for the "Database" mandatory parameter. Specify an explicit value for the parameter and try again, or add the Verbose parameter to obtain more information about the failure.

I can create mailboxes for users which I manually create in AD.

Also eventviewer gives this error:

Cmdlet failed. Cmdlet Update-Recipient, parameters {Identity=contoso.com/Company/Users/100010, DomainController=ad-computer.contoso.com}.

What should I do next?

It would help to see the command you entered and the exact and complete results you received.

Enter this command and see if you have any databases available for auto-provisioning:

Get-MailboxDatabase | FT Name,IsExcludedFromProvisioning,IsSuspendedFromProvisioning
