Creating Folders in Outlook 2013

Hello,

I just set up my Outlook 2013 IMAP yesterday.  Some folders automatically synced, however, I am having a hard time accessing folders or creating new folders in my Inbox now.  I get the error message - You cannot create or naviaget to subfolders of your inbox when you have a non-empty Root folder path.

Please advise on how I can create new folders and save emails to those folders.  Thank you.

Hi,

Please try to open your Outlook 2013, click File > Info > Account Settings > Account Settings > Highlight your IMAP account and click Change > More Settings > Advanced tab. Delete the path that appears in the Root Folder Path box. Click OK > Next...

Please let me know if it works.

Hi Steve,

I was having the same problem and did what you suggested but now I am unable to delete any emails! I get the following message "You don't have appropriate permission to perform this operation"

Any ideas?

Thanks
