Creating Custom System Messages
Hello,I want to know is there an option to create a new custom system messages and adding a picture/logo into it?I saw that it is possible to create new custom message using the command: New-SystemMessagefor example:New-SystemMessage -DsnCode 5.1.2 -Text 'The mailbox you tried to send an e-mail message to is disabled. Please visit <A HREF="Internal'>http://it.contoso.com">Internal Support or contact "InfoSec" for more information.' -Internal $True -Language Enor creating Custom Quota message using the following command:New-SystemMessage -QuotaMessageType WarningMailbox -Language EN -Text "This is a custom quota message."But is there an option to edit the text for each message so it will contain pictures or colors? In the following article, it shows that DSN message support only few HTML formatting tags, the questions is if those tags are the only supported, or is there a way to give it a complete html file including pictures and coloros and it will work?http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb125135.aspxBest Regards,Ploni.

Hi Ploni,Unfortunately no, it is not possible to add image/logo in system message and only listed html tags are valid in it. The editing feature set of system message is limited like configuring disclaimer with transport rules where also image/logo can not be added.Amit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
