Create a mailbox in E2k10
Hi,
We have a provisioning system that uses exchange 32 bit managemnet (espacially PS snapin) to create mailbox in Exchange 2010. We know that 32 bit Exchange mgmt is gone in an E2k10 world. Is it possible to use an exchange
2007 PS to create a mailbox in E2k10?

Actions that create objects, such as new mailboxes, can only be performed on a version of the management utilities that's the same as the target object. So the answer is no as far as I know...Martin Sundstrm | Microsoft Certified Trainer | MCITP: Enterprise Messaging Administrator 2007/2010 |

That's what I thought but wanted to confirm. Anyway to establish a remote PS session from withing E2k7 to E210 to get around this? I am sure you will need WinRM for that... Just thinking out loud here.

However, you can use 32-bit Windows PowerShell 2.0 and remotely access your Exchange 2010 environment.
