Hi,I am trying to create a GAL LDAP filter that will filter out the Users folder in Active Directory. Is there any way to do this?I have tried to do this in the past and failed to succeed at my attemps. I created a custom GAL in exchange and could not get it to filter out the users folder, so I went back to the default GAL. At my office we use the users folder as a temporary storage to store employees that have left the company or something to that effect. So I am looking to filter out that folder so when someone leaves the company and isdisabled/moved into the users folder,they are also removed from the GAL in Outlook 2007.

Hi,I use (& (mailnickname=*) (| (objectCategory=user) )) to get all the user who has value on mailnickname attribute.Besides,I also tried to create a GAL,following "New Globel Address List" wizard,we can use "Filter Rules" to specify recipients in the address list.
