Covert forward copy of Sent Emails
Hi Everyone, Does anyone know of a way to forward a copy of all the emails an employee sends to an alternate mailbox? I know in exchange I can forward a copy of all received mails to an alternate mailbox but how do youforward the sent email also? I need to do this without the employee knowing. Any advice is much appreciated! Thanks, Bob

You can do this by creating a Transport rule. You can create a rule to BCC the email to another mailbox. This will get you started: http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2006/12/12/431879.aspxTim Harrington | MVP: Exchange | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010, MCITP: Server 2008, MCTS: OCS | Blog: http://HowDoUC.blogspot.com | Twitter: @twharrington

Thanks so much for the tips! I should have mentioned we are running exchange 2003. Will the journaling or the transport rules method work for exchange 2003? Many thanks! BobRobert Orthman

Transport rules are not available in 2003. Journaling is available but only on the store level in 2003. If you needed to do this, you could create a seperate store and move this user into the new store for journaling. Alternatively you can use Selective Journaling utility: http://www.ivasoft.com/sj.shtml Regards, Victor Ivanidze
