To say I'm peed of with Microsoft is an understatement, not to mention the lack of support with my issue.

I have a corrupt PST file in Outlook 2013 (Windows 8). All the tools available won't allow me to fix or even restore some of the data.

I have some important emails that I need for business but can't access them. I have tried all the crap Microsoft support (NOT) suggested and the threads posted.

Outlook 2013 error indicates not a pst file (size not an issue, have copied, renamed, etc. etc. no luck).

Scanpst error doesn't recognize the file, third party tools I downloaded error not a valid data file, etc.

If anyone has any solutions other then what Microsoft spruik on about please let me know, totally desperate now.

There are so many tools mentioned here but i suggest only to use scanpst.exe as it is recommended by Microsoft

As the user has defined that scanpst.exe is not capable to recognize and fix the error issue in MS-Outlook. Then its obvious that he should switch to any third party utility. And there are some third party which also provides free demo version to recover the Outlook PST data file.
