Corrupt Messages
Exchange 2007 and Outlook 2007 client. I have a public folder that I am trying to delete 4 messages out of. They are old messages and show no From or To. I am the admin with all rights to Exchange and folders. If I try to open the message I receive "Cannot open this item." If I try to delete the message I receive "Some items cannot be deleted. They were either moved or already deleted, or access was denied." I am the "Owner" of the folder. Any ideas???

Try shift + delete or try deleting from OWA. These are the common workaround for deleting corrupted messages that don't respond to typical deletes.James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com
