Copying a site and it's subsites to production environment.

Good morning specialists.

I have a question regarding the copy of a site and how to do it.

I have two environments, one for development and one for production, for each one I have a server dedicated to each, SQL server 2008 R2 and SSAS, one for SSRS and one for Sharepoint Server.

The website I have in production is a copy of the one I have in development, same performance point webparts, scorecards several ssrs reports linked to the scorecard.

Now in the last couple of weeks I have made several changed to the development sites, I added a few KPI to the scorecard and linked a few more SSRs reports and made some  changes in the AS.

I have no problem migrating the SSRS and SSAS as well as the SQL tables to the production environment, what I need help with is migrating the site, so that I don't have to link all those webparts again to the scorecard and so that I don't have to recreate all those new KPI I added to the scorecard.

A friend of mine suggested making a copy of the Performance Point file to the Production environment and to create a site template of my DEV sites and delete the ones I have in PRD environment and then deply the new site templates.

I would like to know how I can accomplish this migration? And how can I import a site template from my DEV site to the PRD site which sit on different environments.

Thank you for all your help!

Kind regards
