Hello, I have been asked to get a static copy of all of the mailboxes on our Exchange server to provide for potential discovery by an attorney. Can someone tell me what my options may be? Thank you.

Version of Exchange? You can export to psts and then to Read only Devices ( DVDs etc..) If 2003 -> use Exmerge 2007/2010 -> Export-mailbox As for whether that is considered a legal "Static Copy" for these purposes, that is a question for your legal department.

We are using 2007. Is that done from the EMC? If so, I do not see that option just "copy mailbox" - is that what you mean? Thank you for your reply!
