Copy NDR directly to Mail Enabled Folder
I have a customer who uses a 3rd party mail generation system. Mail goes out fine as it uses a mailbox enabled account in AD/Exchange, but the customer would like any NDRs to be delivered to a mail enabled public folder. Currently we have the user mailbox configured to auto forward any messages that come into the mailbox to the public folder. Normal internal and external messages forward just fine, not NDRs. I've tried even to use the Exchange Recipient to copy all NDRs to this mailbox, but NDRs are recieved, just not forwarded. I used this article btw : http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb400930.aspxIs this not possible? Exchange generated NDRs can not be delivered to mail-enabled pfs or distribution groups. You should be seeing event logs warnings on the pf server about not being able to send the NDR.

That's the answer I was looking for, though I don't recall seeing any events noting that. I'll have to look again.Do you happen to know why NDR's can't be delivered? Just for my curiosity sake. :)Thanks! Jake Kappus | RMM Solutions | MCITP: Enterprise Messaging/Admin | MCTS: OCS | MCSE: Messaging | CCNA | CCNA: Wireless
