  1. Launch the Windows Mail application on your PC computer.
  2. Open the "File menu at the top of the window, go to the "Export" submenu and choose "Messages."

  3. Select the "Microsoft Exchange" option and then hit "Next."

  4. Hit the "OK" button to confirm your decision to convert Windows Mail to Microsoft Outlook.

  5. Log in to your Microsoft Outlook email account when the authentication window appears.

  6. Choose to either convert all Windows Mail data or only specific mail folders.

  7. Click on the "OK" button to export the data from Windows Mail and import it into your Outlook profile.

Thanks Jennifer,     Will I lose any old:

  •  Inbox ?
  •  Sent ?
  •  Drafts ?
  • Deleted ?
  • Any Message Files ?
  • Contact Files ?

Will I lose anything else that I haven't thought of ??

I've been using Windows mail for years and I'm real nervous about changing.   However, it seems Outlook is a better system with calendar etc.

Thanks for your help !   Jim O
