Consolidating Picture lost in Word 2010
When consolidating several documents in Word 2010, after I do save as the pictures/graphs/tables disappears. All the pictures, and graphs are set for in line with text, but the pictures still disappears.

Can't reproduce this issue. What will happen if you copy and paste the content directly into one document instead of use the insert->object->Text from file? Have you compare the size of this document before and after you save the file?Try to change the extension of this file as zip to check the document.xml file and .rels file .

I'm not using the insert feature. I'm going into the view tab then selecting the Outline button. After that I hit the Show document button and then select insert. If I keep the documents linked the pictures will stay. However, if I unlink the documents the pictures goes away.

Well, actually you created a outline view.
Open a new blank document, click View->Outline->Show Document->Insert, insert a document including pictures, and then click unlink, Close Outline View->save this document. Reopen it, pictures are still here. Did I miss something?
