Hi all, We'd like to install HMC 3.5 in a purely lab configuration. I have run into the consolidated Server HMC deployment guide and have few very basic questions related to that: 1. Reference architecture in the guide talks about 4 servers, if I ignored the 'optional' ones. Exchange Front End, Exchange Back-end, MPS SQL DB and ActiveDirectory/DC. Which of these4 roles can co-exist on the same box? How many physical boxes would we minimally require to run these 4 components. 2. Consolidated deployment guide states Exchange server is required and LCS component is optional. However, for what we are trying to do, it is more important to have the LCS 2005 deployed. Is it legal to deploy LCS2005 and not exchange server? I'd greatly appreciate the help thanks MM
