Connection problems resulting in undelivered mail
I am running exchange 2003 on one of my company's servers and am having problems receiving allthe emails to my company's domain. The server will deliver some of the mail butothers it will give an error to the sender along the lines ofa connection not being able to be made. Thishappens to emails at random resulting inextremely late or entirely undelivered mail. Here's an example oftheerror from a testemail I sent to the server: ********************************************** ** THIS IS A WARNING MESSAGE ONLY ** ** YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESEND YOUR MESSAGE ** **********************************************The original message was received at Wed, 20 Sep 2006 15:37:35 -0700 (PDT)fromserver.testsender.com [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] ----- Transcript of session follows -----xxxx.x.x reply: read error from myserver.mydomain.com.<recipient@mydomain.com>... Deferred: Connection reset by myserver.mydomain.comWarning: message still undelivered after 4 hoursWill keep trying until message is 5 days old The message was recieved till the next day. This happens at random as I sent another email from the test address not 10 minutes later and it was received almost instantly by my server.
