Connection Count error after migrating Ex2007 public folders to Ex2013

Does this mean that I need to create public folder Mailbox2. When I ran the migration process I never saw a report that told me how many public folder mailboxes to create. We have about 1300 mailboxes and maybe 46 public folders which most are empty. Why so many connections?  Should the Public Folder mailboxes be located on a separate database from the user mailboxes. Also, can the public folder mailbox be renamed without issues. Any support appreciated.

I believe that all mailboxes will connect to get the hierarchy.
